2014 Enchanted Lands:
Celebrating NM Public Lands
This show will be co-sponsored with the Albuquerque Open Space Visitor Center in Sept-Oct 2014. It is timed to include the national Public Lands Day, Sept 27th, 2014. The Opening will be Saturday, Sept 6th, 3 to 5 pm.
The show will be a plein-air exhibition of art done in ANY of New Mexico's extensive public lands. The art will be from 2012, 2013, and part of 2014 and will include national, state, county, City, BLM, Open Space, and Forest public lands in New Mexico. Partnerships with various "friends" organizations will be encouraged. Art celebrating the uniqueness of New Mexico public lands is encouraged. It will be juried. Size limitation is a framed maximum of no more than 22x22 inches.
Juror of Awards will be Richard Prather, PAS and OPA. Entry jurors were Margie Lucena (PAPNM Signature Member) and Joshua Willis (Open Space Gallery)

CALENDAR: May 12, 2014 – Open for digital submissions July 31, 2014 - Deadline for submissions and payment Aug 22, 2014 - Jury Selection Notification by email Sept 3, 2014 - Delivery of artwork either shipped or hand delivered to the Open Space Visitor Center Gallery, 6500 Coors NW, Albuquerque, NM 87120. If shipped, please include return postage. Sept 6, 2014 - Opening Reception and Awards Ceremony, 3-5 pm Sept 6 – Oct 26, 2014 - Exhibition at Open Space Visitor Center Gallery. Gallery hours are 9-5, Tuesday through Sunday. Closed Mondays. Oct 28, 2014 – Artists pick up unsold artwork or return by pre-paid shipment.
