NM Cancer Center Gallery with a Cause: Feb 22 - May 12

Patients struggling to meet expenses while under treatment will benefit from the sale of this art. 40% goes to the patients. Select artist link below for all paintings.

From Carla's link below: The New Mexico Cancer Center was constructed in 2001 with one of the primary design goals to surround patients and staff with beauty and light. The center was constructed as a living art gallery as well as a medical facility, filled with stunning, high-quality art, many created by local artists. The art is an integral part of the philanthropic efforts of the NM Cancer Center Foundation, dedicated to supporting patients coping with the non-medical costs of having cancer and other life-disrupting illnesses. In addition to financial assistance, the mission of Gallery with a Cause is to make the experience of being treated at the NM Cancer Center as supportive and warm as possible.

From Carol: Thanks to our super organized curator Regina over 400 pieces of art went on the walls.  The show may be viewed online or by appointment.

Carol Ordogne:

"Today we hung all 26 of my linocuts at the New Mexico Cancer Center Gallery with a Cause.'... "

Jim Naugle:

"I have 19 paintings in "The Art of Quarantine" exhibition .. at the New Mexico Cancer Center Gallery for a Cause"

Risa Taylor:

"Abiquiu Always, Fall Fiesta and Magnificent Mounts are 3 of the group of my paintings that are part of The Art of Quarantine at The Gallery With A Cause. 40% of the sales go to pay for nonmedical needs (food, rent, gas, etc) of patients at New Mexico Cancer Center.

I am endlessly grateful and honored to be able to participate in this show. Thank you again to those of you who have already purchased paintings from this group.

Carla Forrest:

"This exhibit showcases the divergence of my artistic style into objective abstract painting inspired by the spectral luminosity of the night skies. This subject reflected my spiritual transformations while navigating through the dark night of the COVID pandemic--the mystery, beauty, and hope, which would eventually emerge into a new golden dawn."
