Special Paint Out with PAPNM at the FAMOUS GHOST Ranch

June 11 - 13, 2021

Ghost Ranch offers a rich history and endless painting opportunities for artists with the colorful red and yellow cliffs of the Peidra Lumbre, the iconic Pedernal, the towering red stone formations or the majestic river views of nearby Rio Chama running through the area. We would love to have you join us for a relaxed time of painting and camaraderie… no show, no framing. . . just lots of time for plein air painting. The 21,000 acres of breathtaking landscapes inspired Georgia O’Keeffe and will surely move all our members with its dramatic skies and vivid colors.

Lodging

We have blocked Coyote House for the nights of Friday, June 11 and Saturday, June 12. Coyote House is a 10 bedroom building. Each room has a private bath. Each room sleeps at least 2 and some sleep 3. There is a common lounge area where everyone can meet for evening critiques or/and socializing.

Ghost Ranch has a campground for RV’s with full hookups and tent camping. A bathhouse is available for campers if needed.

Abiquiu Inn is also an option for our members. Abiquiu Inn is approximately 13.5 miles from Ghost Ranch and is a 15 minute drive. There is a restaurant on site. Please contact the Inn to book your spot.

Food

We are not allowed to bring in our own food and meals into the Ranch. All meals must be eaten in the shared dining hall. Breakfast, lunch (boxed lunches are available to take into the field) and dinners will be available and can be purchased at the time of making your reservation.

Each room: $165 per night.
RV Full hook up: $45 per night
Breakfast: $10
Lunch: $12
Dinner: $14

Other Things to Know

Reservations must be made by each individual artist through Ghost Ranch. This is a first come first serve basis only. PLEASE CONSIDER SHARING A ROOM so more spots will be open for more people. All financial transactions will be between Ghost Ranch and each individual artist. PAPNM will not be acting as a middleman.

Ghost Ranch is open Wednesday – Sundays only. For those not wanting to spend the night, day passes are available for $10. Please go to https://www.ghostranch.org/things-to-do/activities/day-passes/ to book your day pass before you arrive.
