Plein Air Journey (10)

Created on: 22 Jul 2022
Started with this group during the beginning of pandemic. Painting outside seemed like the right
thing to do after all the restraints put on us.
I continue to grow and learn new things in painting outdoors.
  • In my yard in Chimayo was really working on that adobe color.
  • By Rio Grande river in Albiqui, I know some will recognize this rock
  • windy day at Rio Grande Gorge quite an experience!
  • Las Trampas Church in New Mexico ,was quite a turn out.
  • Couse-Sharp in the spring in Taos. Was having extreme difficulty with a super smooth surface
  • Up the road from me in Nambe ,another well known rock formation
  • In my yard in Chimayo, my landlord,' grandpas old plow and Apricot tree
  • In isolation during pandemic ,one of my first out in yard in Chimayo.
  • The wonderful Rio Grande Gorge view I have always loved! Unfortunately smoky skies that made it look other worldy that day.
  • Painted mostly in my car ,forgot my Gamblin was pretty much direct painting.
