With a little luck, there will be some snow. But, even without the snow, it will be an enjoyable winter day and an opportunity to come away with a nice painting. We will meet in the upper parking lot on the road that loops to the right after the pay station. Fee on weekends is $2.00 per car.
Directions from northbound or southbound I-25 in Albuquerque:
1. Exit onto Tramway going east (toward the Sandias);
2. Turn left on Simms Park Road and travel east to the guard shack & pay station;
3. Turn right and continue on to the picnic area parking lot next to the upper trail heads.
Directions from I-40 in Albuquerque:
1. Exit onto Tramway going north;
2. After the Academy Road traffic light, turn right (east) onto Simms Park Road and follow directions above.
