FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Jane Hunt’s Work Joins the Booth Museum’s Permanent Collection
Renowned landscape artist Jane Hunt is honored to have her work added to the permanent collection of the Booth Museum of Western Art. As part of this milestone, Hunt has been selected as the museum’s 2025 Artist in Residence, where she will create the piece on-site, offering visitors a rare opportunity to witness her artistic process firsthand. During her residency, she will also lead a landscape painting workshop, sharing her techniques and insights with participants.
In conjunction with the residency, Hunt will be the featured speaker at the museum’s Art for Lunch event on March 5, from 12:00 to 1:30 PM. She will discuss her career, creative inspirations, and the significance of the piece she is creating for the Booth’s collection.
The program is included with museum admission and will also be streamed for free on the Booth Museum’s Facebook page and YouTube channel. Attendees can join in person with an optional lunch reservation, available until noon on March 4 at boothmuseum.org.
Hunt’s inclusion in the Booth’s permanent collection is a testament to her contributions to contemporary Western art. Whether attending in person or online, this event offers a unique opportunity to gain insight into her work and artistic journey.
