    From Peggy:

"I always look forward to the Millicent Rogers Museum’s Miniatures Show which takes place every February. It features the work of Taos County artists and this year was expanded to include Rio Arriba County artists as well. This year is the museum’s 20th anniversary of the show and it will be up from Saturday, February 5, through Sunday, March 6, 2022. When Steve and I visited the show this morning I was thrilled and honored to find that my painting, “Golden Light”, had received the Museum Trustees’ Best of Show award."

    From Michele:

I am thrilled to share that 'Morning on the Rio Grande' is the Featured Artwork in Outdoor Painter for the month of January. I hope you have a chance to check it out!

    From Article:

Best in Show. Taos Plein Air 2021, PAPNMWilder Nightingale Fine Art, Taos NM

Upon seeing Morning on the Rio Grande, Bill Gallen, Judge of Awards, shared his thoughts: “It was a dead give-away. The graphics are strong with an established light and shadow pattern that drew me into the painting from 50 feet away. The juxtaposition of the silhouetted shadow shape with the lit-up cliffs and foreground is powerful. The play of cool and warm colors in both the shadow and the light makes for a compelling composition, the variety of paint thickness adding interest.”
