    I am pleased to announce that I have 3 paintings juried into the Outdoor Painters Society Southwest Salon 2016, Southwest Gallery, Dallas, TX, April 9- May 14. 

    I also have 3 paintings juried into the Laguna Plein Air Painters Association's "Less is More" exhibit at Forest & Ocean Gallery, Laguna Beach, CA, March 7- April 3.

    And I have been juried into the following paint outs:
    Mountain Maryland
    Finger Lakes Plein Air
    Los Gatos Plein Air Festival
    Telluride Plein Air Festival

    "Where Spirit and Matter Meet," a solo exhibition of work by PAPNM member Mary Ann Warner, opened February 13 at Act 1 Gallery in Taos, and continues until March 12. The gallery is located at 218 Paseo del Pueblo Norte, Taos, New Mexico, phone 877-228-1278.

    A special retrospective exhibition of oils, pastels, and other media created by Jeff Potter will be presented by the New Mexico Art League in Albuquerque from January 21 to February 27.  The invitation below gives specific information about the dates of the exhibition and private reception. This show is a celebration of Jeff's life and of the many contributions he made to New Mexico's art community.

    PAPNM member Mary Ann Warner was chosen as one of the finalists of the Southwest Art Magazine contest for Artistic Excellence for her 8x22 oil painting, "Remnants of Hurricane Blanca on the Piedra Lumbre."

    Among other 2015 awards already mentioned on this site, Rosie Sandifer won the Ridgwood Art Institute Award, American Artists Professional League NY, and Honorable Mention at the Outdoor Painters Society Plein Air Southwest, Dallas TX.

    Keya Horn has been selected as a finalist in the Landscape category of THE ARTIST’S MAGAZINE 32nd annual Art Competition.
    Her name will appear among the list of finalists published in the December 2015 issue, while her name and home location will be posted online in early 2016.

    The painting is entitled  LAS TERRAZAS - CUBA  and was painted en plein air outside of Havana Cuba in 2015.

    PAPNM Signature Member Michelle Chrisman will have a  Feature Article in the November Issue of South West Art Magazine.
    Also, she is teaching a workshop for Ghost Ranch in Abiquiu in October--see attached Flyer below.  Michelle's students receive a 10% discount at Artisans for this workshop and Ghost Ranch is offering discount housing.
